MyJapan Photos: Inuyama festival 2010

I consider this to be one of the best festivals in Japan; you can see the cherry blossoms blooming and take in the sights of historic Inuyama.
Held on the 1st Saturday and Sunday of April at Inuyama City.
This is a festival of Haritsuna Shrine started in around 1635. 13 three tiered Yamas or the floats designated as tangible folk culture properties of Aichi Prefecture march the streets and show Karakuri-doll (or mechanical doll) performances with music of flutes and drums.
